The market challenge

Acurast needed to turn its smartphone computing proposition into a Korean onboarding experience. The task went beyond awareness: users had to understand the product, install the app and keep a device running.

Program scope

  • Community standup across Telegram, KakaoTalk, Naver Cafe and DCInside
  • Korean SEO refresh plus a 20-post Naver blog engine
  • 100+ KOL activations planned across the program
  • Be a Processor Korea pool: UID leaderboard, multi-device, holding-duration weighted
  • Old-phone revival UGC challenge built for Korean sharing behavior
  • Two planned AMAs with Korean hosts and six planned Naver-indexed PR placements
  • 30-day holder retention tracking

Planned activities and targets from the program record. Targets are not presented as completed results.

Documented delivery within the wider plan

The IumLabs_Acurast working sheet contains 17 publication links for Korean community and AMA distribution. On 29 October 2026, 16 public post bodies were accessible and relevant. One other recorded URL could not be read publicly.

What remains a plan

This confirms a distribution component, not completion of the full program. The 100+ KOL activation target, Naver content and media targets, and processor-retention plan remain targets unless separately supported by delivery or product data.

How this informs market access

A market-entry brief should identify the local explanation, distribution route, support owner and measurable product action. The lesson is to track publication, community participation and processor activity separately. These are ium Labs working records used as shared team experience.
